Information Contamination all the way down
Dr David Speicher's story is as compelling as his research where he found DNA contamination in the mRNA vaccine
This week Dr David Speicher published research uncovering plasmid contamination in the mRNA vaccines. The implications of his finding are manifold. In time they will change the way we approach public health.
This was the second time Dr Speicher applied his expertise to the pandemic. In 2020 he worked on a project MacMaster University formed to genetically deconstruct the origins of the Covid-19 virus. His efforts there however, were thwarted.
Undeterred, he assembled a crack team of researchers and pointed his lens to the mRNA vaccines. They discovered the unthinkable: double stranded DNA bacterial plasmids in all the Moderna and Pfizer samples they studied. In addition to what has been described as DNA contamination, they confirmed the presence of the highly controversial SV40 plasmid in the Pfizer mRNA vaccine.
SV40 is a vector for gene therapy and carries the enhanced risk of cancer for recipients. More troubling still is that it’s biological function was not disclosed nor was it listed as an ingredient in the vaccine.
Health Canada responded saying that ‘(it) expects sponsors to identify any biologically functional DNA sequences within a plasmid (such as an SV40 enhancer) at the time of submission, …Although the full DNA sequence of the Pfizer plasmid was provided at the time of initial filing, the sponsor did not specifically identify the SV40 sequence."
According to virologist Dr Robert Malone, “What Speicher et al are observing and reporting in this scientific manuscript linked below clearly demonstrates a profound failure of FDA and global regulatory authorities to do their most important job- to insure the purity and lack of adulteration of the pharmaceuticals’
To anyone weighing the risks of treatment of covid-19 with mRNA technology, Dr Speicher’s findings are incredibly alarming. They present serious concerns about the safety of the vaccine as well as the rigor of the process Health Canada used to approve it.
This discovery challenges the safety and efficacy claims of the developers, manufacturers, and regulators of mRNA vaccine technology. It has pushed the public facing conversation on mRNA pharmaceutical technology under the lens of public, political and scientific scrutiny.
It also raises the specter that the threshold for biological safety and medical ethics in the approval process could not possibly have been met.
I will be speaking to him about his research later this week. In the meantime I wanted to share some of my personal experience with this remarkable man.
Dr David Speicher
I first met Dr David Speicher in the spring of 2022 at a Freedom Tour rally in Welland, ON. One of the amazing volunteers I connected with introduced us. She called me a couple days before our event. With a serious tone said she had a very courageous scientist who was willing to speak, ‘you’ll want to hear what he has to say.’
At the time, the known costs for speaking out publicly 'on COVID issues' were severe. Regular citizens meeting in public and flouting COVID orthodoxy faced black listing, fines and jail. Doctors risked their medical license for recommending effective early treatments options. Scientist and academics risked their careers for objective criticisms of the public health response to COVID-19. Professionals were met with a full court press from licensing bodies, the media and public health officials who wielded RICO-like tactics at their practices and careers.
One doctor who was taking the stage with Dr Speicher had his offices raided just days before our event. The investigating body was after his private communications with his patients - anything that might affirm public or private criticism of 'official COVID policy'.
In this oppressive atmosphere, Dr Speicher’s testimony possessed a gravity that only someone willing to walk into a firestorm could carry. He stuck his head above the crowd and took the stage and sharing his story with us. It was riveting.
His expertise as molecular biologist with specialized training in PCR testing and corona viruses placed him at an extraordinary position to understand SARS COV-2. When the virus first appeared on the world stage in early 2020 he was included in a scientific all star team at McMaster University that started sequencing the genome of the virus.
His team’s research was ground breaking. As the World Health Organization stated ‘Sequencing enabled the world to rapidly identify SARS-CoV-2 and develop diagnostic tests and other tools for outbreak management.’ It was a pivotal moment that could help not only Canadians, but the world plan an effective public health policy response to Covid-19.
As the days unfolded, however, it became clear to Dr Speicher that not all their findings would be welcomed. A peculiar politics was at play. His criticism of practices he thought might compromise the integrity of the research had put him at odds with the university. There was no space for dissent. He was categorized as a threat and pushed out of the research team. Although his experience was early, this lack of curiosity and intransigent commitment to the public health narrative would come to define the scientific and political realms for the next few years.
Dr Speicher’s testimony at the rally was sobering, but also hopeful. He asserted that truth was still subservient to science, if we insisted on it. He helped explain the hysteria that had captured our institutions by humanizing it. And most importantly he drew a line in the sand, where courage and truth intersected. This was the place where renewal for our institutions and our culture would begin.
To some his message was a lifeline. A lovely lady in her 50’s - bold, but with a slight frame and weary face, approached us later that day and shared her story. Covid had divided her home. Her husband wouldn’t speak to her. Her dissent with vaccination had destroyed their marriage. After decades together they had become like strangers in the same house. Although she didn’t know anyone at the rally, this was the first time she hadn’t felt alone since covid began.
What covid was dividing, it’s dissidents were reuniting. Truth and courage in the face of fear and othering was the healing formula we were missing.
As I witnessed this spring when Dr David Speicher spoke at a panel discussion, David is convicted.
Despite the setbacks he has endured through covid for acting by his conscience, he has never let anything hold him back. At our event where we drew a panel of extraordinary Canadians, he delivered the most riveting speech of the night. He shared that his unrelenting pursuit of truth in science emerges from his faith in God. He reminded us that we are all called to suffer the costs of apprehending that truth.
Gripped by his words and his faith, hundreds of people were brought to their feet in an undulating wave of standing ovations.
Today I am grateful that Dr David Speicher did not let the weight of covid hysteria slow down his research. This morning he published his latest paper, along with Dr Jessica Rose, L. Maria Gutschi, David M Wiseman PhD, Kevin McKernan, where they expose some jarring details around the DNA contaminants found in every Pfizer and Moderna vaccine vial in their study. It’s a breathtaking discovery that is being unpacked and weighed around the world for it’s immense legal, ethical and medical implications.
Please share his paper far and wide and sign up to his substack to support academic freedom and integrity in science.
